These beautiful cups are the work of a young potter from Taichung who studied with Bai Zong-Ping and spent years at Lin’s Ceramics before that. Now he runs his own studio and reveals his true talent in making Taiwanese tea pottery.

This unglazed mug has a nice, thick wall of 3 mm. The rustic texture that is beautiful to look at is very comfortable to hold. The porosity and mineral content of this material make it the perfect cup that will enhance the tea drinking experience over time.

It is particularly suitable for darker teas, whether oxidized, fermented or roasted.

It is advisable to dedicate this cup to a specific type of tea, just as it would be done with a quality clay teapot. Each cup is made one at a time and signed by the master. Minor variations are possible due to individual handcrafting.
