One of the almost perfect teapots for Gongfu. The unique artwork with a hand-painted blue lotus flower pattern is simply a choice you can’t go wrong. A good choice for all types of tea. The volume of 150 ml is probably one of the most used, as it suits the ceremony for one person as well as smaller groups.
Porcelain as a material for making tea is an ideal and highly praised material. It is lightweight and durable despite frequent misconceptions. Porcelain is a perfectly neutral material, unlike unglazed clays that absorb the taste of tea and are intended mainly for one type of tea. When preparing fragrant teas such as tall mountain oolongs, porcelain acts like a mirror and reflects all the aromas and taste of the tea leaves.
Porcelain gives excellent results in the preparation of tea and is often found in the equipment of experienced tea masters. The hand-painted lotus flower design features two distinctive patterns on each side of the teapot, as well as highly decorative stripes on the edge of the opening, lid, and holder. Each teapot has slight variations in the painted motifs that are protected by an additional top glaze. This is a limited series, and each is signed by the artist. Handmade in Taiwan.
